A fantastic vintage industrial pendant light by Maxlume, finished in a deep green enamel with a white enamel interior.
The large domed shade has a wonderfully utilitarian look, with stepped detailing to the top and ventilation openings around the neck. The original green enamel has developed plenty of character over the years, with areas of wear, chips and surface rust around the rim and shade - exactly the sort of patina that gives these old industrial lights so much appeal.
The shade retains its original British Maxlume branding, adding a nice bit of provenance and making it a great choice for anyone looking for authentic vintage factory lighting rather than a modern reproduction.
It has been rewired in black twisted flex, which works really well with the industrial style and gives it a clean, sympathetic finish.
A brilliant statement light for above a kitchen island, dining table, hallway or workspace, with a strong sculptural shape and plenty of original character.
