Mid century Danish design bureau cabinet designed Carlo Jensen for Poul Hundevad.

Crafted from teak and sycamore with minimal clean lines and recessed handles, giving it a very distinct Danish feel.

Featuring a top bureau cabinet with four adjustable top shelves.  The lockable bureau opens to reveal six adjustable shelves.   The base cabinet is divided into two compartments with sliding doors, two adjustable shelves and a shallow baize lined internal drawer tray.

Poul Hundevad was a defining figure in Danish furniture design, drawing inspiration from the past while honouring traditional craftsmanship and techniques, yet crafting pieces that felt undeniably modern.  Carlo Jensen was a Danish furniture designer active during the mid century modern period.  His work often reflects the hallmarks of Scandinavian design: simplicity, practicality, and an emphasis on natural materials like teak and oak.
