A lovely teak sideboard by Jentique, dating from the 1960s, with sculpted wooden handles and a gently curved base. It offers plenty of useful storage, and the freshly refinished teak has a rich, warm colour.
A central bank of three drawers sits between two cupboards, each with sliding doors and a fixed internal shelf. There is plenty of space for crockery, glassware and everyday essentials, with the sliding doors providing access without needing room to swing open.
The top drawer is a divided cutlery drawer, freshly lined in black to keep utensils neatly organised. The two deeper drawers below offer useful storage for table linens, serving accessories or paperwork. The long top provides ample room for a lamp, artwork and a few favourite objects, making the sideboard equally useful in a dining room, hallway or living room.
Jentique was a British furniture manufacturer based in Dereham, Norfolk, known for its furniture influenced by Danish design during the 1950s and 1960s. This sideboard is a lovely example of classic British mid-century design, with practical storage, balanced proportions and carefully shaped wooden handles. It retains its Jentique Furniture badge inside the top drawer, together with the maker’s stamp on the rear.
The sideboard has been carefully restored and refinished in our workshop, bringing out the colour and grain of the teak while preserving its original design and detailing. The freshly lined cutlery drawer completes the restoration, leaving it ready for everyday use.
It is in excellent refinished condition and presents beautifully throughout. Please see the photographs for a closer look at the finish and details.

Jentique was a British furniture manufacturer from the 1960s-70s, producing mid-range teak furniture with Danish-influenced styling.
Their sideboards and storage pieces feature clean lines, sliding doors, and solid construction. Good quality with dovetail drawers and teak veneers over solid frames. A more affordable alternative to G-Plan from the same era.
We stock Jentique sideboards and storage furniture, all properly restored and ready to use.
