A sculptural vintage bent wood magazine rack / vinyl record storage by Habitat, dating from around the 1980s.
Made from layered bent plywood with a warm oak finish, the design uses a series of repeating curved forms to create a simple but striking silhouette. The flowing arches give it a distinctly architectural feel while also making it genuinely practical, with plenty of space for magazines, newspapers, vinyl records, or large books.

Habitat was founded by Terence Conran in 1964, bringing Scandinavian-influenced modern design to the British mass market. Known for simple, functional furniture in teak, pine, and later beech.
Pieces from the 1970s-80s feature clean lines, bright colours, and practical design. Quality varied - earlier pieces tend to be better constructed with solid wood rather than later chipboard ranges. Often marked with labels or branded hardware.
