This vintage white architect’s desk lamp is a clean, functional classic - the kind of practical task lighting that’s just as useful in a home office as it is in a studio, workshop or reading nook. Finished in a soft off-white enamel, it has that timeless angled-arm silhouette associated with traditional drafting lamps, paired with smooth movement and a bright, focused light output.
The adjustable arm features twin tension springs and multi-point joints, allowing the lamp to be positioned precisely where you need it. The vented metal shade rotates and tilts with ease, giving you directional light that’s ideal for desk work, crafting or bedside reading.
A sturdy clamp base secures to the edge of a desk or shelf, making it a great space-saving option. The design suggests late 20th-century manufacture, with its plastic clamp, metal arms, and updated wiring – a practical, reliable piece.
Presented in excellent vintage condition with very light surface marks and small signs of wear consistent with age and use. The mechanism moves well, and the lamp clamps securely. Electrically tested and in working order.
A versatile and functional piece
Perfect for an office, studio or creative workspace, this lamp brings practical lighting with a clean, understated vintage look – simple, unfussy and easy to style in both modern and retro interiors.
This piece has found its new home, but plenty of other one-of-a-kind finds await you. Discover similar pieces.
