A fantastic vintage industrial green enamel pendant lamp by Coolicon, with all the character and patina you’d hope to find in an original factory light.
The shade has a classic wide domed profile, finished in deep green enamel with a contrasting white enamel interior to help reflect the light. The open gallery at the top gives it a particularly strong industrial look, while the chrome fittings add a nice contrast to the darker enamel.
There are various chips, marks and areas of wear to the enamel, particularly around the rim and top section, all consistent with its age and previous working life. These signs of use give the lamp plenty of authenticity and make each original industrial fitting completely unique.
The light has been rewired in black twisted flex, which suits the period style beautifully while giving it a clean and sympathetic finish.
A great statement pendant for above a kitchen island, dining table or workspace, and an easy way to introduce a genuine piece of vintage industrial design into an interior.
Please note that this light will need to be hardwired into the ceiling by a qualified electrician.
