Uniflex was a British furniture manufacturer, originally founded as L. Lazarus & Sons in East London in 1910 and rebranded to Uniflex around 1960. Known first for bedroom furniture, the company expanded into living and dining ranges, including modular storage units. Designers Peter Hayward and Gunther Hoffstead led Uniflex towards a distinctive modernist style – clean lines, sled legs, and handle-free fronts, typically in teak, walnut or rosewood.
