A beautifully minimalist piece from G-Plan’s sought-after Form 5 range, this low teak sideboard perfectly balances timeless design with everyday functionality.
Originally produced in the early 1970s, the Form 5 series was G-Plan’s refined take on modern living – marked by clean lines, recessed detailing and an elegant, pared-back aesthetic that remains effortlessly stylish today.
Crafted in richly toned teak veneer with solid wood edging, this low-profile unit sits on a plinth base, giving it a grounded, architectural feel. Two smooth-gliding cupboard doors provide generous concealed storage, making it an ideal media unit, vinyl cabinet or compact sideboard in any modern or vintage inspired interior.
Designed by Roger Bennett and introduced by G-Plan in 1967, the Form Five range embodied the clean, modern aesthetic emerging at the close of the 1960s. Crafted in teak and defined by its pared-back, minimal style, the collection grew in popularity into the early 1970s before being phased out by the mid-decade.
Whether you’re displaying a record player, storing tech, or adding warmth to a living room, this piece is a stylish and practical addition to your space.
