A classic adjustable architect’s lamp in a soft mid-grey finish, this vintage desk light brings clean industrial lines and functional mid-century style to any workspace. With its articulated double arm, weighted springs and clamp-on base, it’s a practical piece of design that still feels modern today.

Manufactured in the 1960s, the lamp’s silhouette and construction are typical of British and European task lighting of the era – the kind used in studios, drafting offices and workshops. The steel shade, perforated top vent and exposed tension springs all reflect the purposeful, utility-driven design that defined mid-century industrial lighting.

Original paintwork with light age-related wear around the shade rim and arm joints – exactly the kind of character you’d expect from a working studio lamp of this period

Perfect as a desk or drafting lamp, reading light, bedside task lamp or accent piece in a home office or creative space. The adjustable reach makes it especially useful for hobby work, drawing, sewing and crafts.

In good vintage condition with expected patina from age and use. Some small chips and scuffs to the enamel finish (mainly on the shade edge), surface wear to the metal arms, and slight ageing to fixings. Rewired with a white twisted-fabric cable and complete with original clamp-on base for secure fixing to a desk, shelf or worktop.
