Vintage Grey Architects Desk Lamp
£125.00
In stock
A classic example of mid-century industrial design, this vintage grey architect’s desk lamp brings clean lines, smooth adjustability and practical studio functionality to any workspace. With its elegant tapered shade, articulated double arm and original clamp-on base, it’s a timeless piece that still feels fresh and modern.
Manufactured in the 1970s, this style of lamp was widely used by draftspeople, designers and engineers thanks to its precise movement and stable spring-balanced arms. The geometric triangular brackets, exposed metal springs and vented shade top are all characteristic of that era’s purposeful, utilitarian lighting.
In very good vintage condition with light, age-appropriate wear. Minor surface marks and small scuffs to the enamel finish, consistent with a working lamp of its age. All joints, springs and fixings are in solid, smooth working order. New 3 pin UK plug and original clamp-on base for secure fixing.
Perfect for a home office, studio or creative workspace. Its slim profile also makes it an ideal bedside reading light or a stylish accent piece on a sideboard, console or kitchen counter.
