E.W. Bach

E.W. Bach (Ejvind W. Bach) was a Danish furniture designer working during the golden era of mid-century Scandinavian design.

Known for his refined cabinetry and beautifully balanced proportions, Bach created pieces that prioritised clean lines, practicality and quiet elegance. His work often features high-quality teak veneers, thoughtful internal layouts and a strong architectural sensibility – all signature elements of Danish Modern design.

Bach collaborated with respected Danish manufacturers such as Sejling Skabe, producing highboards, sideboards and modular storage systems that remain highly sought after today. Though less widely known than some of his contemporaries, his designs are prized for their craftsmanship, functionality and timeless appeal, making them a favourite among collectors and lovers of authentic mid-century furniture.
