A lovely Danish modern teak sideboard dating from the 1960s, offering plenty of storage in a clean, understated design.
The layout features eight generously sized drawers arranged in two banks of four, providing useful storage for everything from clothing and linens to paperwork and everyday household items. The two upper drawers retain their original removable dividers, making them ideal for organising smaller items.
The sideboard showcases richly figured teak throughout, with solid teak recessed handles and slim tapered legs giving it a light, uncluttered look. A fitted glass top, which we believe to be original, protects the surface while allowing the grain of the teak to remain fully visible.
Inside, the drawers are solidly made with traditional dovetail joints and are clean and smooth running. The quality of the construction is evident throughout, from the carefully selected veneers to the well-finished interiors.
The sideboard has been professionally cleaned and polished and is presented in excellent vintage condition, with only light signs of age consistent with its years.
