A wonderfully practical mid century teak storage coffee table by British furniture maker Myer, retaining its original “Myer’s Twin Box” label beneath the top.
Designed with two separately hinged lids, the table opens to reveal a generous divided interior, providing plenty of concealed storage for books, magazines, blankets, games or everyday living-room essentials. Each lid is fitted with a supporting stay, allowing the compartments to be accessed independently and held securely open.
The warm teak exterior is beautifully understated, with clean rectangular lines and neatly matched grain across the two-part top. Slim black metal legs run up the corners of the box-like body, creating a strong architectural contrast while giving the piece a light, elevated appearance.
When closed, the generous surface works perfectly as a coffee table, while the discreet storage below makes it especially useful in spaces where keeping clutter to a minimum is important.
