Pair of Vintage Cinema Seats Fully Restored

Important installation note: These seats are designed to be fixed in place and will need to be either screwed directly into the floor (as they were in their previous home) or mounted onto a wooden plinth or platform. This is how cinema seats were originally installed – they’re not freestanding furniture. The cast iron frames have mounting points underneath for secure fixing, which keeps them stable when people sit down and get up.

What makes cinema seats work so well in homes is their footprint – they’re designed to maximise seating in minimal space, so a pair like this gives you proper seating without dominating a room. The folding mechanism means they sit tighter to the wall when not in use, and those cast iron frames are built to last another lifetime. Perfect for hallways where you need somewhere to sit while putting shoes on, or as quirky extra seating in living rooms where standard furniture feels too predictable.

These seats have been fully restored with new black nappa leather upholstery, new wadding, and stripped and oiled wooden frames. Original hat stows intact beneath each seat. Ready for immediate use in excellent restored condition. Require floor mounting or plinth installation.
