Vintage Herbert Terry 1209 Black Anglepoise Wall Lamp

Rewired with black braided flex that suits the industrial look. The original Bakelite bulb holder is still in place and working perfectly – these were built to last. Fitted with a new 3-pin UK plug, so it’s ready to use straight away. Takes a standard bayonet bulb (B22).

The original black paintwork is in excellent condition. There are minor marks and small chips here and there – it’s vintage industrial equipment, not showroom stock – but nothing that detracts from it. The finish has that proper worn-in look that only decades of use can give.

The Wooden Mounting Pad

Someone’s added a wooden mounting pad at some point, and it’s actually a nice touch. It gives you a clean finish against the wall and spreads the load better than just screwing straight through the metal bracket. You can use it with or without – your call. The wood has aged to a warm tone that contrasts nicely with the black metalwork.

This is working vintage lighting in excellent order. The articulation is smooth across all joints, springs are sound, and the electrical work is done properly. Original paintwork with honest wear. Tested and ready to use.
