August has brought a brilliant mix of new vintage and mid century pieces to the website, from lighting and storage to some particularly good British design. One of the highlights has to be the Mid Century Walnut Sideboard by Alfred Cox – the walnut grain is incredible, with beautifully considered detailing, sculptural legs and proper dovetailed construction. It’s one of those pieces that looks even better the longer you look at it.

Also new are a matching pair of vintage ‘Encore’ vinyl record racks by Height & Guille for Artifact Designs. Dating to around the 1970s, with smoked acrylic dividers and their wonderfully graphic circular cut-outs, they’re every record collector’s dream. Alongside them you’ll find new pieces by Ercol, G-Plan, Uniflex, Jentique and Prova, plus a really good selection of vintage and industrial lighting.

After a busy summer I’ve also been doing plenty of sourcing, so there’s lots more currently on the workbench. Coming to the website soon are some iconic pieces, including lots of Ercol dining chairs, a Ladderax system, a G-Plan Helicopter dining table, a Jentique bureau and several chests of drawers in different sizes.
